I hope this note is not too late to scream out my joy of a historic moment of Francesco Totti, the King of Rome. Two days ago, at Stadio Olimpico he scored his record of 211 goals in Serie A for one and only AS Roma. Still I'm amazed of his numbers, not only because he has totally 211 goals for Roma now, but also the day he scored the record was fantastico : 21-1 (January)! He scored the 210th goal to Roma's ex and now Cesena's goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli only 31 seconds after kick-off (watch here), and within 8 minutes he broke the Swedish attaccante Gunnar Nordahl's 210 goals with AC Milan. You know what? After 7 seasons (1949–1956) with Milan, Gunnar Nordahl stopped his record at number 210 just to continue his next 2 seasons with only 15 goals for As Roma. What a weird connection! He made his debut for As Roma on 28 March 1993 but scoring his very first goal on 24 September 1994 in a 1–1 draw against Foggia. Like Martin Luther King said, "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.", I think Francesco never thought that he would make all these records. Just please visit Google and then type any key word like "Totti and record" etc to read or watching all those achievements to absolutely agree that he is The King of Rome. He is a son of Lorenzo and Fiorella Totti since 27 September 1976, a player for only As Roma since Vujadin Boškov's era, a hero for Azzurri when winning 2006 FIFA World Cup, a husband for Ilary Blasi since 19 June 2005, a father for Christian and Chanel. I already read a very thick novel by Steven Saylor : ROMA The Novel of Ancient Rome. The eternal city of Rome has been always an eternal home for all people who was born in La Capitale. I think the building of  great wall around the ancient Rome to keep the city from invaders has also building the comfort zone of proud to be Roman until now.  The proud of being Roman people is to keep the empire in faith. I can feel their proud to understand why his mamma Fiorella refused a lucrative offer from AC Milan to remain in his hometown and let him joining the Roma youth squad in 1989. And despite Alberto Aquilani's escape to England on 2009, I'm the one who always believe that Daniele De Rossi will stay at Roma as Capitan Futuro after all massive transfer rumors lately. They always have the ancient proud of Roma, and Francesco Totti always keep his empire. That's the answer of all questions why he refused several consecutive massive offers from Galacticos Real Madrid and the world champion Barcelona since early 2000s. He has pointed out that he never thought about money, otherwise he would have left aged 26 when Real Madrid and Barcelona wanted him. I don't wanna imagine how great if Totti was collaborated with Zidane in Madrid or Ronaldinho in Barcelona at that era, but I can imagine what happened to As Roma if he accept the offers. Roma is Totti and Totti is Roma. I'm not about to note all his records, nor his long dedication to Roma. No doubt about it all. Well, I'm now pointing out my belief as a Romanisti, that Francesco Totti has a true heart of Roman. When love is above everything, no temptation of denial can lead him exit from Roma. Yes, he loves Roma more than any city in this world, and he loves As Roma more than any club, and absolutely never let himself signing any contract with neighbour Lazio! He has signed the 5-years new contract with Roma since 2009 that he will stay with Roma until next 3 years. I hope Daniele will not deny his proud of Roman as well. Many Romanisti(s) at early this season were afraid that he might deny his love when Luis Enrique come with many new youngsters. They said that Erik Lamela would replace his best trequartista position, but we can see now that both different generation can play together. Remember that his two goals this weekend to point out his loyality were coming from great assists by Erik Lamela. That's what love can do, he even sit calm with smile on the bench when Enrique pointed another youngster early this season. And now, Romanisti in Stadio Olimpico are coloring the tribune in red-yellow (giallorossi) with words: The King of Rome Is Not Dead.
