The number of positive cases until today, the coronavirus in Indonesia reached 2273 people. Up to 164 patients recovered and 198 patients died. If I were President of Indonesia, i wouldn't be like the current Indonesian government. The way they handle the coronavirus outbreak has been appallingly amateurish, from the moment it started spreading in China in January to when the World Health Organization declared that COVID-19 was a global pandemic.

Now, we are seeing  problems caused by the government's failure to communicate the coronavirus message effectively. There was a time when Saudi Arabia informed that Indonesia was included on the list of countries banned from visiting the minor haj. If I were the president, I would agree with this ban statement. But the current president protested and still demanded that Indonesia is a coronavirus-free country.

The President also made a wrong choice for choosing the current minister related to the coronavirus. From the start, it already looked like the current minister was not someone who could handle this COVID-19 outbreak. Instead of intervening in the regulation of the price of the mask, the minister even said "why do you wear the mask if you weren't sick".

Indeed, the way that the minister talked wouldn't solve the problem, even though the minister has the power to make things happen. That kind of talk deserves to come out from the ordinary civilians mouth. If the minister, they must prove it with an act.

Even now, the government isn't transparent enough. It is supposed that the government should expose data to the facts in the field, no need to cover-up. The fewer data amounts of positive or deceased victims are informed will further minimize the Community's awareness of the dangers of this coronavirus.

The most important thing that I would do as an Indonesian government is social distancing. Why social distancing?  Social distancing is a very effective way in these situations right now. According to our President , Jokowi, each country has a different character, has a different culture, has a different discipline. Therefore, we did not choose the path (lockdown).

I, as the President of Indonesia will tighten the supervision of this program. Police officers will patrol every 7 hours to make sure that everyone is obeying the rules and laws. If the police officers found out that there were some people that are not obeying the appeal, they will get a warning.  If they are obeying the rules they will be detained and sent to the police station for a deterrent effect.

I will provide foodstuffs for the people in need and I will strictly prohibit people from selling medical masks with unreasonable prices. And of course, quarantine. People who still wonder around should use masks.

Actually, the government has been trying and I highly appreciate their efforts. Maybe if I were president, I would certainly be afraid to act because I have a lot of shortcomings and I don't deserve to be the president of Indonesia. I hope the Government could change and help Indonesia to be a better country. Thank you.
