Is a non-profit movement to celebrate Peace Day on 21st of September through music concert that was broadcasted online for 24 hours non-stop on www.c4peace.com.lebration in the name of PEACE.
Background
Run in support of Peace One Day's mission to raise the awareness of 21 September as Peace Day in order to ‘institutionalised’ the day in the calendar, Concert 4 Peace invited anyone to express Peace with their own music and send their videos or the links before 21 September 2012 up until the day to their website or Facebook page. On 00:00 AM, 21 September 2012, the videos that had been collected were broadcasted online on their website www.c4peace.org.
Participants & Attendees
Concert 4 Peace is being supported by over 300 participants who then became their Peace Ambassador. In a 24 hours concert, they sang over 210 song titles in many different styles and genres. Amongst Concert 4 Peace participants are Jan Margolius, Benjamin Teacher, Peter Fennema, Distortion of Monday, Michael Thorner, Pagi Nan Cerah and Paduan Suara Perdamaian,
At the end of their event, Concert 4 Peace was attended by 814.077 viewers from Indonesia and all over the world.
Post Event
Concert 4 Peace gives their gratitude to their participants in form of Certificate, where participants were given the title of a ‘Peace Ambassador’. The certificate can be downloaded at their website.
