Many people respect and fear him. He has a son named Raden Pandanarang. Just like his father, Raden Pandanarang is famous as a polite, friendly, kind-hearted and respectful child to his parents.
Then Raden Made Pandan invited his son and followers to leave the Sultanate of Demak. People went west to find a new place to live. After a few days on the journey, Raden Made Pandan stopped and was happy with the area he had decided to live in.
Forests were opened and boarding schools and agricultural lands were established. In that new place, Raden Made Pandan taught Islam to his followers. For a long time in that area, many people came to seek religious knowledge in pesantren.
Raden Made Pandan likes to live in that place with his son. He hopes that his son will be able to replace him as a teacher of Islam in his current place. Before he died, Raden Made Pandan told his son Raden Pandanarang to continue his footsteps. Raden Pandanarang was made not to leave the area. Raden Pandanarang was in charge of spreading Islam in that place and managing agricultural land in that area.
His father's will was executed by Raden Pandanarang. Raden Pandanarang is an ustadz who teaches the science of Islam to the community, while also managing agricultural land. There are many foods from agricultural products. As time went by, many people came to study Islamic science.
The agricultural land worked by Raden Pandanarang with his followers has been growing fertile ever since. Those who saw it were surprised, did the asam tree grow far and wide in that fertile land?
Raden Pandanarang said that this area is called Semarang. comes from the word asam and arang. That is all the forerunner of the city of Semarang which is now a big city in Central Java and even the capital of the province. Because of the open position and the first founder of the city of Semarang, namely Raden Pandanarang, he was immediately appointed as the leader and received the title of Ki Ageng Pandanarang I.
