If you are like millions of other bloggers, then you know the feeling of producing blog posts that failed to deliver. We do have high hopes for you after you digest the recommendations for writing posts we are about to reveal.

Think of your headline as the mini sales copy for your articles and blog posts. There’s a lot of reasons why a headline wouldn’t work out, but one proven way to make it work is to make it bold. Just think about what could make you stop and really read a headline, and that can often give you a good starting point.

You can actually get a terrific education for free just by focusing on blog post headlines, article headlines, etc. So what does it take to make your headline effective? Don’t be passive in your approach, but give your reader your best with your headline and make them feel like they’re a part of the conversation. One solid approach is to sound like news and even offer some benefit to them.

One of the most effective approaches is to involve the reader in some very real way. Openly challenge your readers about something and ask questions at the end of your posts. If you can encourage or compel people to comment, then other readers will see the high number of comments and investigate.

Giving your audience your attention and time will really make them feel positive about it. Nothing is underhanded here because you are simply being conversational and doing normal things to keep it going. Be sure to put questions out there for people to think about, but avoid asking way too many.

Look around and make yourself aware of the news within in your niche. While these are very effective, try to avoid using them too much so your site does not end-up being a news site, only. Remember that not everyone has the time to keep up with these stories, and for that reason they will read your posts.

But perhaps you do not have the time to spend tracking down these gems that you can write about. Hopefully you have some measure of strong interest because that will come through in your posts. There are several places to check for news trends, but do be sure you set-up Google Alerts for your keywords. If you are new, then it is normal to experience a learning curve with writing high quality blog post articles.
