Nowadays, smoking is something that adults, teenagers, children, and even women do. For them, smoking may be to relieve stress, or even just to look cool. They also sometimes smoke in public places, some even smoke at school. People who are addicted to cigarettes can spend 10 or more cigarettes a day. However, the impact of smoking is very dangerous for health. Here are some of the bad effects of smoking:

First, from a personal health perspective. Smoking can cause various diseases such as coronary heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory problems. This disease may not be felt now, but 20 or 30 years later. There are many people out there who feel the bad effects of smoking at the age of 50 years and over. Apart from that, smoking can also accelerate skin aging.

Second, smoking can also be dangerous for other people's health. The cigarette smoke produced can pose a bad risk to the health of other people who are exposed. Because other people will inhale the carbon dioxide that comes out of the smoker. Automatically, this will have a more dangerous impact on health. Moreover, smoking near children will harm their lung health. Cigarette smoke can also cause air pollution which can worsen the quality of our living environment.

In conclusion, smoking has a very detrimental impact on both individual health and the surrounding environment. In terms of personal health, smoking can cause serious illnesses such as lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory problems, as well as accelerate skin aging. Apart from that, cigarette smoke also harms other people and can trigger various health problems, especially in children and non-smokers. The environmental impact of cigarette smoke includes air pollution which can worsen the overall quality of the environment. Therefore, avoiding or quitting smoking is an important step to protect our own health and the well-being of those around us.
