Through the bonds of blood, a toxic grip held tight,
In their presence, my spirit trembled, hidden from sight.
But I dared to break free, to find my own way,
Seeking liberation from the darkness of that dismay.
From the chains that bound, I yearned to be released,
To soar on wings of freedom, my soul seeking peace.
For toxicity's poison, it seeped into my core,
Draining my essence, leaving me yearning for more.
In their presence, I withered, a shadow of my true self,
Their words and actions, like daggers upon a shelf.
