Let it Go

Trapped in a bond that's toxic and wrong,

Emotions run deep, the heart sings a sad song.

Staying for fear of the unknown,

Ignoring the signs, and feeling alone.

Friends or lovers, it matters not,

The hurt and pain, it's hard to forgot.

A need for comfort, to feel loved,

Makes it hard to leave, and move on from above.

But staying can be a heavy price,

On mental health, and heart's paradise.
