PANTHEPACK is a group from China with 4 Chinese members, which are Jackson Wang, ICE, Karencici, and J.Sheon. It formed by Jackson Wang under his own label, Team Wang. PANTHEPACK also pronounced as “Panda-Pack” inspired by the most known animal from China, Panda. “PAN” which refers to the revolutionary core and “THEPACK” which symbolizes community and unity.
The different style of their individual type of musics blended well together. Jackson Wang with his unique husky voice, ICE and his hip-hop rap style, Karencici with the mezzo soprano, and J.Sheon with his smooth silky voice, with all of these individual flavours, they made a great combination as a whole group.
As Jackson said, the group combined together is like a whole dish. Jackson as the steak, J.Sheon as the mashed potato, Karencici as the vegetable, and ICE as the sauce. When you eat the dish as a whole meal it will taste perfect. They are already good on their own and they are mixing and matching it together then offer people a full course. They aim to highlight China’s modern culture through high-quality artistry music.
Before their album out, the group has released few songs. Without giving any details, “DNA” was the first one to released, then the second song “Transmit” came out. They released the first 2 songs before they announced themselves as a group, so not many people knew what and who PANTHEPACK was. The third song “BUZZ” out with a music video, which the first music video that reveals them as a group.
On September 17th 2021, they released a debut album “THE PACK” that has 10 songs in it, including DNA, Transmit, BUZZ, and the other tracklists Gut Feeling, Too Many, Sold Out, Maybach, Pull Up, Wishlist, and Shanghai Dream. The album started with energetic rap songs and giving some enjoyable vibes in the middle tracklists then ended with comfort chills song. It is giving Western and Chinese music vibes blended perfectly well in the album.
PANTHEPACK will do tour in China starting by the end of this September. PANTHENIGHT Tour will be hold in Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, and more cities to come.
