Sea turtles, as the name suggests, this turtle is a type of turtle whose habitat is in the sea. This type of turtle spends most of its time in the water, however, it turns out that sea turtles are animals that breathe with lungs like us. They will rise to the surface of the water to take in air then return to the water to look for food such as jellyfish, algae, shrimp, fish, seaweed, crabs, etc. Most people probably don't know that turtles are reptiles. You may think turtles are cute animals, but actually turtles are cold-blooded, omnivorous animals. They are categorized as reptiles because they are four-legged vertebrates, cold-blooded, and have shells or scales that cover their entire bodies. The shell is divided into two parts, the one above and covering the vertex is called the cerapace, while the flat part below the body is called the plastron. Turtles are animals that have the longest lifespan compared to other animals, in fact the oldest turtle ever recorded was 152 years old.
