The Application of Technology in Education: The Social Network (2010)

Technology. One thing that has been developing rapidly. There are many reasons that influence the speed of technology development. From science, desire to fulfill needs, feeling dissatisfied, curiosity or maybe other reason that we may never have expected. Of the many reasons that influence technological development, the reason for fulfilling needs is one of the biggest reasons. 

Many people develop or even create new technologies to make their lives easier. Work, hobbies, needs, communication and even small things in daily activities can't be separated from the involvement of technology.

Of the many aspects of life that can't be separated from technology assistance, the educational aspect is also one of them. Technology now is a platform that plays a role in the learning process. 

Technology with gadgets, internet, videos, and games  become frequently used as a learning tools. The reason is by using technology, learning activities become more diverse and interesting so it helps in processing and understanding new information or knowledge.

An example of the application of technology in education is seen in the film The Social Network. The film, which was released in 2010, is a biographical film that tells the story of Mark Zukerberg's process in creating Facebook during his college days. 

In this film, there several scenes of Mark's college life when he listening to his lecturer presentation with a laptop and powerpoint displayed on a projector as a learning tool. 

Not to mention Mark who studied Computer Science, almost all of his activities could not be separated from computer programming. In this film, the importance of technology is emphasized in Mark's educational activities and even in his whole life.

In conclusion, technology is important and understanding technology can help make our lives easier. Hopefully in the future, with technology that continues to develop, we as a human being, can use it for positive things.
