PIE, which stands for Personal Input, Interaction, and Engagement, is a learning method that involves student engagement with fun brain teasers for learning effectiveness and student output that fully understands the material being taught.
The main key of PIE method is to provide space for students to share their experiences, allow students to interact not only with us but also with other students, and use brain-teasing but fun competition games.
Examples of PIE learning methods are make the student to tell the story about their experience, tic tac toe, role play, guess the picture, guess the word, and so on. If students do not understand the game, we can join them in the game to make them understand, then after they can get into the game we can let them continue with each other.
It is highly recommended to let the students move, whether it is standing, walking, or whatever during the game so that the students will not be bored and they can capture the learning well.
