The teacher can use any methods to teach students in kindergarten lever, but not all method can be used at once. The teacher should know the character of their students, so that they can apply learning methods based on the abilities and comprehension of the students. The teacher can use the right method to provide the lessons that are in accordance with the curriculum given by the minister of education. In kindergarten level, using learning method by singing is the solution for the teacher. To support this method, the teacher must have many songs to be a reference so that it's not monotone.
The singing method provides a lot of convenience for students to memorize the material. Learning by singing make students easy to understand the material, because of the rhythm, lyric and they can dance while sing a song. The song has its own uniqueness than other works such as short stories or novels, and music or songs can be used as a means of an effective learning process for children (Rasyid, 2010:147). Â In order to Widhianawati (2011) states that activities carried out through mention and song hope it will please the child at the same time touching language development, sensitivity to rhythm music, motor development, self-confidence and courage to take risks. Song cannot be separated from learning activities in kindergarten (TK) everyday, by voicing a song or singing children will feel happy and can be motivated to study harder.
The effective learning process at the kindergarten level using the singing method. Singing is an activity that is liked by all people, from toddlers, teenagers, adults and even parents, because we can hear through our own sense, exclaiming various pitches and rhythm with our own voice, furthermore singing is a source of child development, especially for the aspect of thinking (Vygotsky 1969). According to Vygotsky, children do not necessarily master knowledge because of the maturity factor, but rather because of their active interaction with their environment. The children's songs sung are adjusted to the activities to be carried out, and each activity begins and ends with singing so that children are more concentrated and happier with the activities carried out. in the overall, singing method can increase the effectiveness of students learning. They can interact more with the teachers and friends, they can do something according to their abilities to achieve what they want.
The teacher can use the singing method to get maximum learning effectiveness at the kindergarten level, teachers should develop their creative thinking skills to make an unique songs. In this essay, I have present two the advantages of the learning method by singing which are first singing method provides a lot of convenience for students to memorize the material. Second, the effective learning process at the kindergarten level using the singing method. The teacher can use any method in teaching, but for the kindergarten level it is highly recommended to use the singing method. Because their abilities need to be develop, so they can understand the material quickly.
