What Would I Do If I Am The President of Indonesia

If I am the president of Indonesia like Mr. Ir. Jokowi Dodo, first I will regulate a rule about containing coronavirus-infected patients. In this rule, it will explain in detail about the SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) of how to treat a Coronavirus-infected patient. First, it will state that any potential coronavirus patient will be contained in certain Hospitals set by the government. In this case, it will be the  RS Royal Taruma and RS Persahabatan for treating the coronavirus-infected patients and Wisma Atlet Kemayoran for containing the patients waiting to be treated.  Then, every hospital personnel that will or must interact with coronavirus-infected patients must always keep themselves sanitized and sterile. If they need to maintain contact with the coronavirus-infected patients, they need to use full-body suits and keep themselves sterile at all times, including before the contact and after the contact. For anyone that wants to do a coronavirus test, one must have a letter of reference from other hospitals and go to one of the hospitals mentioned above to do the test. 

Then, the government will also conduct extensive research for curing the coronavirus, by gathering the best men and women from all over the country to do the research. The research will be sponsored by the government from the monthly allocation of the country's annual budget and it will recruit the smartest men and women and also a lot of qualified volunteers from many universities from all across Indonesia. This research has to be done to help the world in finding the cure for coronavirus, and if possible, the vaccine.  

Not only for research, but the government will also help hospitals and officials in getting a steady supply of masks from the crafters. In this case, the normal surgical mask will go to Hospitals and health officials, while the government will support the cloth mask crafters in producing an increased amount of masks than the usual per day for the public to use. Of course, the price for the masks will increase along with the increase of need. But, I will make sure to keep the masks at an affordable price while not adding more losses to the government. 

Not only that, but I will also prohibit every healthy people from making direct contact with the people that got infected with the coronavirus. The rule mentioned before in the above will also cover the prohibition of unauthorized people from making direct contact with coronavirus-infected people to flatten the curve of Coronavirus, or simply said, to lessen the number of people getting infected. 

While this all is working, I will initiate a work from home option for most of the people in Indonesia that did not absolutely need to be outside in this hell of a pandemic.  For this, the rule mentioned above will also cover almost all of the companies currently exist in Indonesia to lower the field staff until to the absolute necessity for normal function. During the work from home, people are also not advised to go outside their homes if not absolutely needed. and for necessities such as foods, soaps, and basic home stuff, the government will prohibit anyone and everyone from raiding the stores and panic buying all the things. Law protectors will be deployed in big stores and the amount of stuff people can buy at a time is limited according to the amount of stock available in the stores. With this applied, people won't need to worry about food supplies running out.
