Promiscuity is a form of deviant behavior that crosses the boundaries of obligations, demands, rules, conditions, and feelings of shame. Promiscuity should be avoided because it can endanger health and violate existing regulations. Promiscuity can occur due to the wrong choice of a friendship environment and the curiosity and unstable attitude that are still attached to teenagers. Even in Indonesia, there are about 4.5% of boys and 0.7% of girls aged 15--19 who claim to have had premarital sex. In adolescents aged 15--19 years, the largest proportion of first dates occurred between the ages of 15--17 years. In this article, I will go into greater detail about free sex.
Why promiscuity often occurs in Indonesia? One of them is because parents pay less attention to the association of children so as to make children feel free, and the lack of affection makes them want to seek affection by engaging in promiscuity. And the lack of love from their parents causes them to seek other freedoms that may be more "wild," such as free sex, they may even choose to engage in prostitution because, apart from getting love, they can also earn money. Simply put, the definition of "free sex" that is commonly known in Indonesian society is sexual behavior that is carried out outside of marriage. And in practice, this can happen between one partner or one person with multiple partners. Worse, this can also be done without commitment or even emotional attachments, including sex in courtship (premarital sex), one night love, prostitution, to swapping partners with other partners (swinging).
There are several factors that cause free sex behavior, such as the influence of electronic media, environmental influences, low religious moral education, a lack of love from parents and surroundings, and a lack of knowledge about sex. So do not be surprised if the number of cases of free sex behavior in Indonesia is very high, which causes many teenagers in Indonesia to get pregnant out of wedlock. So free sex behavior is not very justified because it is something that is strictly prohibited by religion and the state. So that we as teenagers should have a mindset that free sex is not a behavior that often occurs in Indonesia. Moreover, the behavior of abortion, in addition to harming ourselves, the prospective fetus, and the people around us.
