global warming has started increasing a lot. In the 19th century, global warming wasn't that big of a problem. It didn't affect anyone too drastically. Now in the 21st century, global warming is one of the biggest problems in this world. From the 19th century until the 21st century, the temperature has raised by a little more than 3° C (5.4° F).Â
Ever since the industrial revolution,As you can see from these 2 pictures, earth's temperature has raised by a massive amount. This goes to show how drastic global warming can affect the world. As it's shown, this is a very serious problem and could lead to a possible end to the world.

What is Global Warming?
Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the earth that is caused by emmision of greenhouse gasses. It is caused due to the burning of fossil fuels and with the increase of human population, using a larger quantity of fossil fuels is much needed. However, since humans are greedy creatures, we tend to overuse the fossil fuels. This causes the temparature of the earth to increase at a very fast rate. This can also be recognized as a form of climate change.

What is the difference between Climate Change and Global Warming?
Global Warming mainly focuses on the rising temperatures that happen because of the highly concentrated amount of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Climate Change is a more general term referring to the increase in changes of the weather, temperature, and wind patterns. So Climate Change is more of a general term with Global Warming being one of it's effects.

What causes Global Warming?
- Manufacturing goods and industry produce emissions, mostly from burning fossil fuels to power the machines so it can produce energy to make cement, iron, steel, electronics, plastics, clothes, and other goods. The manufacturing industry is the largest cause for Global Warming.
- Cutting down trees has had a higher impact to the greenhouse effect than most people would expect. Normally, trees collect CO2 from the atmosphere and replaces it with O2, but when you cut the tree down, the CO2 inside the tree spreads out back to the atmosphere.
- Using personal transportation may be more efficient and easier to get around to but, the amount of cars in the street has damaged the atmosphere with the smoke coming out from it.
- Consuming too much fossil fuels on default has made the greenhouse effect worse. If humans only consumed the amount of energy they need, global warming won't happen this fast.
