Campus facilities are an important component for students. Campus facilities can be a place to build skills and expand understanding. Each campus definitely has different facilities, starting from classrooms, offices, canteens, and many more facilities that can help students in the learning process. These campus facilities have a vital role in helping students to achieve their desired educational goals.
With modern and efficient campus facilities, students can get a better understanding of the material being explained. The campus also provides facilities that help students improve their abilities and skills. With good facilities, students can improve their abilities and skills.
On March 28 2024, me and my group conducted interviews with two officers who worked as security guards at UPN Veteran East Java. Their names are Mr. Hadi and Mr. Febri. They explained that at UPN Veteran East Java, there are several facilities that students can use to improve their abilities and skills. One of the facilities provided by the UPN Veteran East Java campus is the dormitory. This dormitory is provided for students who need a place to live, especially female students. This dormitory, which was established by the UPN Veteran East Java campus, is prioritized for students who receive KIP-K scholarships and students who come from outside Java.
They also explained the fees that had to be paid to enter the UPN Veteran East Java dormitory. The dormitory in the UPN Veteran East Java area has 4 floors, and each floor definitely has different prices on each floor.Â
"The purpose of differentiating prices on each floor is because this has been determined by the campus. However, for the benefit that students who live on the 1st floor get, they don't need to climb the stairs to get to their room." - Mr. Hadi
"With this price, students already get several facilities that are ready to use, such as a room equipped with a bed, sleeping equipment, study table, bathroom, and many more. 1 bathroom is used for 1 room. Meanwhile, 1 room contains 3 people, so one bathroom is used by 3 people. There you also get equipment such as bed sheets, pillows, bolsters and mattresses that are ready to be used. The UPN Veteran East Java Dormitory also provides shared kitchen facilities for cooking when they are hungry. In the dormitory there is also a clothesline for drying clothes that have been washed by students." - Mr. FebriÂ
Students who live in dormitories are also required to obey regulations such as permission when leaving or when returning home. When leaving, students must also go home before curfew (22.00). Students who live in this dormitory are also not allowed to bring friends into their rooms, because they are worried that undesirable things will happen, such as losing items. Students who live in dormitories are also not allowed to bring electronic equipment other than cellphones, laptops, fans and chargers. Due to concerns about forgetting to cut off the electricity when leaving the room, this could cause undesirable things such as fire.
To enter the UPN Veteran East Java dormitory, there are several conditions that must be met, namely, you must be a new UPN Veteran East Java student, because this dormitory is prioritized for students who receive KIP scholarships and students who come from outside Java. Students living in this dormitory must be female. Because this dormitory is specifically for women. And students who live in this dormitory must obey the rules that have been set.
