Relation between Food Supplements and Lifestyle

People nowadays used to fill their body with something that they don't read before they consumed, and then come up the company bring the health supplement which gives some gimmicks or they really give the vitamin and mineral in their product. But, most people also still consume the food supplement for reducing some diseases which they don't know where it comes from or something complex.

Vitamin and minerals are important to make us healthier and also reduce the body from diseases, but sometimes if we consumed it for a long time without a doctor's prescription the body will have some effect of consumed such as taking too much vitamin A can cause headache and liver damage, reduce bone strength, and cause birth defects. Everything inside the food supplement can be dangerous if we consume it more than the suggested serving size (dose).

Ingredients of everything inside the product still using some preservative which makes the body consume something that dangerous, it can be something that worse if we consumed that one thing is making us healthy or being fit and the others make us being horrible if the usage pattern of health supplement is bad. Food supplements used to consume for an adult, but now most people use them even if they're from children, teenagers, and adults, because they think that the daily food consumption of every day is not enough, besides people can change it from food supplement to consume something which healthier like fruits, vegetables "Vitamin and mineral supplements are the most commonly used dietary supplements by populations worldwide." Fang Fang Zhang, Susan I Barr, Helene McNulty, Duo Li (Health effects of vitamin and mineral supplements, 2020, para. 2).

Knowing information about what we really need for our body is important, especially in this case is about vitamins and minerals which some of them can not produce naturally from our body.

Lifestyle is something that has more effects on humans, and in this case, another thing that has some effect on humans is a food supplement that contains some minerals and vitamins, but this is why they are consuming food supplements because their lifestyle is not good.

Modern lifestyle has some effect especially to eat something not healthy, such as fast food, junk food, coke, and alcohol, ingredients of every food and beverages contain some sugar, fats, salt and if we do not control it when we consume it can be bad for the long period time it can stack to our body and cause dangerous disease, this is why the food supplement has an important role in our body especially to reduce the content salt, sugar and fat in our body, surely we just can not be stuck with a food supplement, we need to do exercise, consume healthier food, and the other thing that humans forgot is positive thinking.

To sum up, humans can not separate lifestyle and food supplements in this new era because they are bound to each other, even though changing the lifestyle or consuming healthier food to make healthy without using food supplements.
