A Blessing from the Masters

When I read a book about Reiki (one of traditional healing method - use the energy transfer to heal) that was telling us about the life of a famous Reiki Master, Mikao Usui, I came across with the blessing - the prayer that might be useful.

The title was a Blessing from the Masters. It was used in the initiation process to the new Reiki practitioners. The blessing consists of hope, courage and motivation, ultimately, to control ourselves.

The blessing was:

May you have

Enough happiness to keep you sweet,

Enough trails to keep you strong,

Enough sorrow to keep you human,

Enough hope to keep you happy,

Enough failure to keep you humble,

Enough success to keep you eager,

Enough friends to give you comfort,
