Dear happy brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen
First of all, let’s pray and thank unto our God Allah Subahanahuwata’ala, who has given us mercies and blessings so we can attend and gather in this place in good condition and happy situation.
Secondly, May Shalawat and Salam always be given to our Prophet Muhammad SAW, the last messenger of God who has guided us from the darkness to the brightness, from Jahiliyah to Islamiyah namely Islam religion.
Thirdly, I don’t forget to say thanks very much to the master of ceremony who has given me chance to give my speech in front of you all.
In this opportunity, I’m going to give my speech in front of you all by the title “Moving is a Blessing”.
Brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen
Ibn Qoyyim rahimatullah once said, “One of advantage, goodness, pleasure, perfection, it won’t be obtained, except by feeling the pinch”. According to him, all that can’t be achieved except through the bridge fatigue. All the scholars agree that pleasure isn’t found through the enjoyment.
He continued, '”And that happiness and enjoyment of it depends on the extent to which a person's past horrors and bear the burden of acquiring it. There is no happiness for people who don’t have the obsession to be happy. No delicacy for those who can’t be patient in acquiring it. There is no pleasure for people who don’t want to sacrifice for the pleasure.
So, struggling and striving to reach what you want to accomplish. To achieve what you want to accomplish, then keep moving. Moving slowly but surely. Be patient and continue strong.
Move ... Which the nature has taught us to keep moving in order to create a perfection as its function was created. As water, when it kept stagnant in a container, then it will be far from a value of usefulness and enjoyment, because it raises a variety of diseases larva in it.
That's the nature of significance in the creation, to keep moving and bring the usefulness of the change. As the earth and the sun that never lazy to move. It continues to spin on its axis so as to create balance in nature Milky Way. "And the sun runs in the circulation..." Allah has said in Surah Ya-Siin, verse 38 (QS.36: 38)
As well as in a hydrological cycle, water vapour continues to move. As Allah has said in Surah An-Nur, verse 43 "Do you not see that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then collect it, then He makes piles, and then you see the rain out of the cracks ..." (QS.24: 43).
Moving is a blessing ... intelligent believers are always able to control themselves and organize themselves for tomorrow. As affirmed by the Prophet in one hadith, that should be better today than yesterday. If today is the same as yesterday, we included in the class of people are the losers. How may we be able to become a better person and useful if reluctant to move? So, keep moving, to generate a significance in creation
Dear brothers and sisters, are respected by Allah SWT. I think that’s all my speech and we do hope to be successful student in this world and hereafter, amin. As human being, I can’t avoid doing mistakes, so I apologize to you all for every single mistake that I have done to you all. So long and good luck.
