Billy Mambrasar is a Papuan, working as an engineer, graduated from the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering , ITB, and continued his Masters Degree in Project Management (MBA) from the Australian National University, with Australia Awards Scholarship. He has a deep interest, observing Social and Political condition of Indonesia generally, and Papua specifically. He currently works full time designing, completing, and project managing a Multi Billion USD project, in Indonesia, as a project engineer. However, during his off days, he spent them advising the Ministry of Education and Cultural of Indonesia, in a special unit called: Desk Papua. He also is a CEO of a nonprofit Organization called: Kitong Bisa, which provides education services (consulting) for other education nonprofits. Billy's writing focuses on the area of Political and Social Issues in Indonesia, and also their interface with Business, Industry and Technology, especially education and human development in Papua, Eastern Indonesia, and the whole Indonesia.
