In the last two years, COVID-19 has spread in Indonesia. Almost all schools in Indonesia have been affected by online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The government has taken a policy so that all schools in Indonesia carry out online learning. Due to the high rate of spread of COVID-19, this policy was taken to reduce the spread of the virus so that the virus can be controlled. Online learning turns out to cause various obstacles, for students, teachers, or parents. The learning process changes drastically, so adjustments are fully needed.

The impact of online learning was felt by a high school student named Keane, “At first I was confused about using online learning applications, such as zoom and google classrom. Then online learning also makes it difficult for students to contact the teacher, and the teacher only gives assignments without explaining the material first. This also makes the material not conveyed properly.”

Not only students who feel the impact of online learning, teachers also have their own obstacles. Many elderly teachers are not proficient in using technology but are required to be able to do online learning. As a result, online learning is less optimal.

Parents also admit that they have difficulty assisting their children in online learning. On the other hand, parents have work to do, but they also have a responsibility to supervise their children during online learning.

“Online learning makes me have to divide my time between work and supervising my child's online school. In the past, when learning was still done offline, I could work in peace. But now I feel overwhelmed.” Said Abdul Rozak, student's parent.

The impact of online learning is felt by many people. There are more negative impacts than positive impacts from this online learning activity. The quality of learning is getting worse day by day. Schools must quickly adapt to online learning to keep students on track according to their curriculum.
