Recently, there was a mass shooting with a total of 9 victims at the Hollywood Broadwalk. The mass shooting occurred at the Hollywood Broadwalk Beach, United States. quoted from CBS News Miami(30/05/2023) Nine people, including four minors, were transported to area hospitals following a mass shooting at the Hollywood Broadwalk on Monday afternoon. One of the 9 victims underwent surgery, while the others are in stable condition. 

Police said on Tuesday that they were looking for three suspects in connection with the shooting and that two people had been arrested on gun possession charges. It took place in the 1200 block of N. Boardwalk or near Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. This began when there was an argument between groups, the more heated the debate made it the background or the beginning of the shooting case that occurred in Hollywood, said one of the Hollywood officials.

"I saw a young man that was on the ground bleeding and they were applying pressure to prevent the bleeding. Also, saw a lady that was very upset. I think she had a wound to her leg," said Vance Hendricks, visiting from Philadelphia." one of the tourists who was an eyewitness revealed this when interviewed.

Therefore, due to this shooting case Hollywood Beach remains closed.
