AbstractÂ
Project Based Learning can be said as one of teaching and learning method that developed in classroom especially related to the newest curriculum in Indonesia. Project based Learning demands the students in classroom in order to be able to create, plan, think and do a such project to improve their skill not only in "think" but also in "do". It is more complex. This paper is designed to orient us to the field of Project Based Learning included a brief history of Project Based Learning and a description of its benefits.

Introduction
Project Based Learning is related to the concept of collaborative learning in which the students work in group. Â Grouping can be said as the solution which is as one of the cooperative learning method that can be said as the method to manage the class by dividing student into groups. It should be realized that among the high ability, med-ability and low ability students must be covered in learning process to aim the goal of the learning. Meant, group could be covered all of the competency students had.Â
But, teacher also must be aware that teacher must be avoiding the homogenous group into heterogeneous group. Because, the homogenous group which is based of certain criteria, religion, culture or ethnic and so on, will make some of the students' lack of their motivation to learn.

A Brief History Of Project Based LearningÂ
Doing some challenging class, investigations in laboratory or could be the field trip as the project for students has been known as the value of engaging the students actively that can enrich and extend the content of curriculum. It can give some benefits of experiential, hands on and also student directed learning.
