Verbal Teasing Triggers People to Bully

Verbal teasing also includes emotional abuse by using harsh words without physical contact, slanderous words, and threatening words. Verbal teasing also has a serious impact on the victim. Preventing today's youth from bullying is important for this generation because it provides understanding, prevention, and behavior to prevent it from happening.
Verbal teasing can occur due to social differences, culture, rank, economy, physicality, and also pressure from the surrounding environment. However, the impact of this taunting is also very impactful on the life of the victim of bullying which can create deep wounds and trauma.

From all the opinions we collected from some of our sources, this verbal taunting has a very serious emotional impact on the victim of bullying, from the words spoken by the bully to the victim which are very demeaning and insinuating can make the victim insecure and traumatized.
Then, from some of the interviewees we interviewed, they had experienced verbal bullying and received very inhumane treatment. Most of them just keep quiet and don't reply to the bully so that the problem doesn't get bigger.

And also according to the interviewees and me, the impact of this verbal taunting can also make the victim experience trauma, depression, not wanting to socialize with his surroundings, and having the desire to end his life. They also told me how to prevent today's youth from verbal bullying by teaching them about bullying and the harmful effects of bullying so that the level of bullying can be reduced.

With this ending, it is important to recognize that verbal bullying should not be taken lightly. Proper teaching and monitoring of verbal bullying can help prevent more serious bullying from occurring. Through our own awareness of not putting others down without thinking about their feelings, we can together create a safe and peaceful environment where every human being is valued and respected like everyone else.
