The slum dogs are singing again, the old familiar song
The thundering jaws of danger or perhaps the same old insecurities
Beneath the fire I stayed, the same man, eyes upon the ever-changing dance of fury
For the fire within stays untamed, its cry fueled by my ancestor's rage
Yet I stood still, in silence
A man is what he allowed to be, to show weakness is a foul policy
Thus the fire keeps me company, a  reminder of what lies ahead of me
Time wait for no one, it burns silently, forever changing, forever spinning through eternity
