Forgetting the beauty in our differences, too few.
Poverty and hunger grip countless souls,Â
As the privileged turn a blind eye, their hearts cold.Â
The gap between rich and poor widens each day,Â
Leaving the vulnerable in despair, with no say.
Environmental woes continue to unfold,Â
Nature's cries for help, often left untold.Â
Climate change looms, threatening our existence,Â
Yet, greed and ignorance hinder our persistence.
But amidst this cruelty, let us not lose sight,Â
