Nowadays, technological developments have developed quite quickly. Generation Z, which is a group that is very dependent on technology, is often called a tempeh mentality. The reason behind this stereotype is because generation Z is a generation that is difficult to manage, because they have the concept of freedom to choose their path in life. The freedom that generation Z has is often too much unnecessary diverse thinking. This can hinder unity and unity efforts, especially in work and organizations. Then Generation Z's tendency to only pursue personal happiness rather than a decent job is behind the high resignation rate. They have financial challenges because of that. Not only that, they prefer to spend money on experiences rather than long-term investments, generation Z can face financial challenges when faced with immediate or future needs. These things cause a chain reaction which will also have an impact on mental health.

But being Generation Z is not always bad. There are many advantages attached to Generation Z. Freedom and Innovation, generation Z grew up in an era of freedom of information and freedom of expression. They can easily access various information and choose the desired path in life. Next is Free Thinking and Entrepreneurship, the ability to think freely and the desire to live a meaningful life, bringing generation Z to become entrepreneurs who are the hope of the nation. Quick adaptation to technology is also one of the advantages of Gen Z. With the courage to adopt technology, generation Z is able to adapt to changes in an increasingly sophisticated world.

Freedom of thought can be an advantage or a disadvantage for generation Z. This freedom must be accompanied by mature self-control and a strong mentality in order to become a generation that is creative, innovative, free-thinking and entrepreneurial by means of intergenerational learning. This can be a way to align generation Z values with the experiences of previous generations. Perhaps by combining these perspectives, generation Z can achieve a better balance between individual freedom and contribution to a common goal. This discussion opens the door to a deeper understanding of the characteristics and underlying dynamics of generation Z.
