Belajar dari Studio Hollywod di Maroko

Sejarah Mencatat setidaknya sejak satu abad yang lalu telah ada pembuatan film Asing di bumi maghribi ini, keberadaanya yang dekat dengan Eropa menjadikanya lokasi pilihan bagi sebagian produsen film eropa, dan kini dengan pesona alam yang eksotis dan budaya yang unik telah menjadikanya salah satu tujuan favorit sutradara berkelas dunia untuk lokasi syuting film, sederet film box office pun terlahir disana.

Kerajaan Maroko melalui kementrian budayanya memang cukup serius dalam menggali dollar dari sektor ini, dibuatnya beberapa studio besar dan komplit dengan sekala internasional dan menjadikannya satu buah kota sebagai ibu kota film internasional yaitu kota Ouarzazate.

Tahun 2006 pertama kali saya ke ouarzazate, waktu itu setidaknya ada lima lokasi bekas syuting film yang masih terjaga baik, diantaranya film kundun, film Kingdom of Heaven, saya sempat berphoto di benteng salahudin bekas orlando bloom kepleset, hahahah.. juga bekas film celeopatra dan The Mummy, imajinasi saya pun terbawa seolah sedang berada di luxor mesir, semua bangunan megah mesir ada disana sampai perkampungan kuno mesir pun tersedia, dengan heran saya sempat bertanya kepemandu tour waktu itu, "kok kenapa syutingnya di maroko bukan dimesir?","disini lebih murah dan bebas politik" katanya singkat.

Tidak tertinggal beberapa Hotelpun menjadi tempat persinggahan artis terkenal, seperti Hotel Oscar, pertama kali memasukinya sudah terpasang beberapa poster film yang pernah syuting disana, sampai penjaga kafe di hotel itu bercerita bangga kepada saya kalau dia pernah memberikan satu gelas teh untuk angelina jolie dan Brad pitt, dan saya pun dengan nada bercanda menjawabnya kalau suatu hari nanti saya akan syuting film disitu, hahahah... bapak penjaga kafe itu pun dengan serius mengamininya.

Entahlah, apakah do'a penjaga kafe yang dikabulkan atau hanya sebuah kebetulan, dua tahun kemudian saya mendapat tawaran untuk ikut jadi piguran film "Prince of Persia, the sands of time", tanpa pikir panjang saya langsung ikut, dan inilah kesempatan pertama bertemu artis dan aktor hollywood, awalnya memang seperti mimpi tetapi dalam nyata, kulihat betapa profesionalnya produksi sebuah film yang didukung oleh artis yang ramah dan tentunya lokasi syuting yang sangat menakjubkan, segelas teh disuguhkan oleh penjaga cafe yang dulu pernah ketemu.

Mengingat masa itu, seakan mengembalikan saya akan sebuah ide, mengapa kita tidak belajar dari Maroko dan menjadikan hutan tropis sebagai studio alam, maroko telah berhasil merubah pasir, gurun, gunung, sungai dan kotanya menjadi tempat yang berharga dan sarana promosi wisata gratis, mari kita lihat beberapa film yang pernah mengambil lokasi syuting di maroko yang saya himpun dari paman google dibawah ini:
