Three in ten (28%) global citizens refer to themselves as “creationists and believe that human beings were in fact created by a spiritual force such as the God they believe in and do not believe that the origin of man came from evolving from other species such as apes” led by those from Saudi Arabia (75%), Turkey (60%), Indonesia (57%), South Africa (56%) and Brazil (47%).

Kami, akademi-akademi sains yang bertanda tangan di bawah ini, telah mengkaji bahwa di berbagai belahan dunia, dalam pelajaran-pelajaran sains yang diajarkan di sistem pendidikan negara tertentu, bukti-bukti ilmiah, data, dan teori-teori yang teruji mengenai asal usul dan evolusi kehidupan di Bumi terus ditutup-tutupi, ditolak, ataupun dikebingungkan dengan teori-teori yang tidak teruji secara ilmiah. Kami mendesak para pembuat kebijakan, guru, dan orang tua untuk mendidik anak-anak mengenai metode dan penemuan ilmiah dan menggalakkan pemahaman mereka mengenai ilmu pengetahuan alam. Pengetahuan akan alam semesta yang mereka hidupi mendorong manusia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia dan melindungi planet ini....

Jangan khawatir, teori evolusi masuk pelajaran biologi ko. Tidak akan mengurangi porsi pelajaran agama yg bercerita tentang penciptaan langsung.
