Expostulation of Mother's Day memontum for all of us to do self-introspection, with the existence of Mother's Day is one form of respect for women. In Indonesia, the degree of women has been fought by one of the female heroes, RA Kartini and Cut Nyak Dien. From them women can get the same rights as men. Namely the right to obtain education, health, and justice in the family.

At present the Indonesian people have a lack of historical understanding of Mother's Day, Mother's Day should be used as the spirit of our movement. If we read history, Mother's Day begins with the spirit of the movement carried out by women in 1928. Since Princess Mardika conducted a motion to the Dutch Governor General so that women are treated equally in the eyes of the law. Since then the women's movement in the archipelago has progressed and civilized even after the motion, the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) launched a day of women's revival to specifically discuss the women's movement against capitalists. The day was used by women to hold a women's congress which was later renamed by the Suharto regime into Mother's Day.

We can learn from the history of the women's movement that commemoration of Mother's Day should spearhead our daily movements. The day marked the beginning of a women's congress even before Indonesia's independence, which should have been the spirit of our movement to be even better. Women's life against !!
