According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS), agriculture was one of the sectors that contributed to the country's economic growth with an increase of 1.06% year-on-year. Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo claims, the growth trend of the agriculture sector has been steadily improving since 2020. The steady growth of agriculture is a sign of improving demand for food commodities as the pandemic recedes.
