Free Online Study English Program in the Middle of Covid-19

      The COVID-19 pandemic has spread throughout the world.  In Indonesia, this disease has been spreading since last March.  As a result, all activities that allow transmission must be deactivated especially education.
This situation, the learners are less for knowledge, especially students.  In accordance with the government's appeal to minimize the transmission of COVID-19, school activities were closed.  However, closing all school activities does not mean holidays from learning activities.  However, students learn from home online.

      Learning online has become commonplace in the midst of the current pandemic.  Apart from studying online, students can also use free online programs to better understand the material, including in English. Several free online English language programs can be accessed from various sources such as applications, non-formal educational institutions (courses), websites and others.
 EF Kids and Teen is an English language education institution (course) that is well known throughout Indonesia.  This institution has several free online programs that can be accessed through the YouTube channel and applications in learning English, including:
 1. EF Junior English Test, for students aged 8-13 years
 2. EF English Standard Test, for students aged 14 years and over
 3. Some English materials for children ages

      Apart from that, the application can also be used in learning English.  Mr Aritonang, S.Pd, M,Pd a professor at Junior High School 3 Rantauparapat said that students who study online, especially English, can use applications related to English during learning activities such as Doulingu, Hello English Learn and others.  This application application can make it easier for students to understand learning.

      Learning online in the midst of this pandemic has become an active role for parents to participate and monitor during the learning process.
