Minecraft, almost everyone has heard about it. Nonetheless played it. Minecraft has been around for 12 maybe 13 years perhaps? Because it was released in 2009 or 2010. I have only "discovered" Minecraft on 2020 at the pandemic, same goes with my little brother. We first played multiplayer when we accidentally went LAN then we checked multiplayer on the tabs (PS: we were in bedrock edition) then, I joined my little brother's world. After that we just played in creative mode and "defeated" the ender dragon. Then we just built a house and then "prepared" to do PvP and I defeated him. 1. Because he fell in lava. 2. Because I was enchanted. Basically, that's why he got defeated by me.
Minecraft is so fun so I started researching, mostly from watching "things you didn't know about Minecraft" videos on YouTube channels, like Ideactivatemc, skipthetutorial, block facts, etc. Most of the information I also got from the Minecraft beginners' handbook.
What time is it? History time! Minecraft was released in 2009 or 2010, and went through many-many changes from Cave game to Minecraft, version 1.1, infdev, beta, etc. but multiplayer was added in version 1. ... oh, darn I forgot, so... yeah, but then people started making servers literally minutes after the update was released. And, became one of the oldest servers ever that people are still playing on.
Multiplayer has really changed Minecraft gameplay because all of a sudden you can just join your friends LAN world (on bedrock) or join your friend's server (on java). either way, they are pretty much the same. This also paved the way for other multiplayer servers to develop, like the now famous server "Hypixel". And now almost every Minecraft youtuber has played on multiplayer with their other youtuber friend. Also with the new app discord, we can voice chat, and not just use the boring old regular chat. But people still debate on which is the best Minecraft version ever, because there is a lot of them, for instance, Minecraft java edition, Minecraft bedrock edition, Minecraft education edition, Minecraft Xbox 360 edition, Minecraft Nintendo 3ds edition, etc.
Minecraft's original creator was Notch, or his real name is Markus Persson from Sweden, he also founded Mojang studios. but after he retired, Jeb (Jens Bergensten) and windows bought the company, Jeb was, and is the developer for Minecraft as we know it today, he also brought us the new upcoming 1.19 the wild update, that will be released in... drumroll please *dun dururu dun-dun... 2022 but we still don't know which month, nonetheless date. Ok, I'm done writing! (For today) I'm going to play Minecraft multiplayer instead! (Wish you all a happy day).
