Woosh! Was That a Jet?

WOOSH! Was that a jet?

Jets are super cool, they fly very-very fast. the fastest one can even go three times the speed of sound. According to the Nazi Megastructure series on National Geographic channel, the first jet plane was developed in early World War 2 by the Nazi. They developed it for a little while, but they discontinued because their Luftwaffe aircraft we’re incredible in the early war. But, a few months before the Nazi downfall, they proved very effective against the Americans. But sadly, they we’re too late.

That was also when the first jet engine was created. Jet engines are powered by compressing air, then letting it out after being mixed with fuel. Then it’s combusted to create thrust to push it forwards. Jet engines are used by all the commercial aircraft. They are usually very big, because, they need to lift very heavy weight.

Jets are used in wars, military activity, etc. jets are used because they are very lightweight and slick. So, they are very effective. Jet engines are not effective in space, because of the vacuum of space. Jets are always very high tech they are always developed, they give it more gear, like altitude monitors, infrared cameras, etc.

Someday, I would really like to see, jets going faster then they are now, with even more improvements to make them even more safe. But, I don't really like to see them used at war. I also hope to someday ride a jet, to feel what it's like to be on and in one, there are already so many types of jets. If there are any ideas on jet like spacecraft I would suggest to turn to Star Wars, here are pictures of my Lego version of the Mandalorian starfighter
