In the several of this year, news spread that the phenomenon of many Indonesian citizens, especially among young people who moved citizenship from Indonesia to Singapore, had shocked this country. Around 1,000 talented citizens convert to Singapore every year. Not without reason many talented young people do this because of the opportunity to work, career, and live a better life than in Indonesia. This reason is supported by evidence that Singapore's condition in terms of economy, income of citizens, and sectors of life is more advanced than in Indonesia. This phenomenon creates disadvantages in the eyes of the government because good human resources in this country will lose the young generation who will lead and organize Indonesia in the future. The reason is the less nationalist character to loving the country, this is why building the nation's character is very important for sovereignty and advantage country in the future. However, from an Islamic perspective, this problem is also important because Rasulullah has mentioned it in Hadist to address the problem. then, How Islam resolves this problem based on the teachings of Rasulullah.

Ahlak Rasulullah is a good habit that is usually performed in activity, nature, and behaviors in the daily life of the prophet Muhammad saw. Ahlak Rasulullah saw the best behavior a human being can have. Rasulullah is known as a good person with habit, behavior, wisdom in resolving problems the conflicts, and have feels very loving to his homeland. Rasulullah has said in the hadith to present his love for his homeland. Imam Jalaluddin Al-Suyuthi (died 911 AH) in his book Al-Tausyih Syarh Jami Al-Shahih mentioned:

Meaning: "Narrated Sa'id ibn Abi Maryam, narrated Muhammad ibn Ja'far, he said: reported to me Humaid, that he heard Anas RA say: The Prophet (SAW) when he returned from traveling and saw the hills of Madinah, he would speed up his camel. If he rode a camel then he moved it. Said Abu Abdillah: Harith bin Umair, from Humaid: he moved it (to speed up) because of his love for Madinah. Narrated Qutaibah, narrated Ismail from Humaid from Anas, he said: the walls. Harith bin Umair followed him." (Jalaluddin Al-Suyuthi, Al-Tausyih Syarh Jami Al-Shahih, Riyad, Maktabah Al-Rusyd, 1998, Juz 3, pp. 1360)  Imam Suyuthi, in explaining the above hadeeth of Anas, commented: In it (the hadeeth) there is an element of love for one's homeland and longing for it. (Khoiron, M. 2023)

In Islam, the problem that happened in Indonesia is included in the lesson of Iman. Islam has the term Hubbul Waton Minal Iman which means loving the country or homeland is part of Iman (fait). In Islam, Iman is very important and must be inside true Islam beliefs. This is clear evidence that as a Muslim that has Iman we must love, defend, and help in terms of goodness for this country because is part of Iman. The Quran also Allah swt mentions loving his homeland or country, Allah said in surah al-baqaroh in numbers 243-244:

meaning is "Have you not noticed those who went out from their homes, while they were thousands [in number] for fear of death, so Allah said, 'Die,' then Allah revived them"?

This verse implies an order to defend the homeland, even if lives are at stake. According to Shaykh Musthafa al-Ghulayaini, nationalism (al-wathanîyyah) is one of the universal human instincts. This can also mean that people who truly love their homeland will prove it with positive attitudes and actions for the homeland and its inhabitants, for example by promoting education and science which is the key to true independence, namely economic and political independence. ( Gunawan, R. 2021)

Whit Ahlak Rasulullah saw its possibility can serve as a source of inspiration to building the nation's character for loving the homeland or country The prophet’s teachings to Muslims are that we must be kind, respectful, and compassionate towards fellow citizens and the environment. By following his example, we can foster a sense of responsibility and concern for the country and its people. For instance, Rasulullah pushes Muslims to be honest, trustworthy, and fair in dealing with others and in the big society. It is these values that can help a country in building the development of characteristic persons and society based on mutual respect and mutual trust, which is essential for a strong and united nation. Moreover, Rasulullah also thought that his followers must more attention to the environment and avoid wastefulness. By adopting these values, Indonesia can contribute to the preservation of our natural resources and promote sustainable le development.

In conclusion, Ahlak The prophet Muhammad saw can help us and this country to develop the characteristics and nationalism of their people, especially in the young generation by promoting the moral values of Ahlak Rasulullah saw based on kindness, respect, and caring for each other. By following his good lesson, will create a society that is based on mutual trust and respect, and that is committed to preserving our environment and natural resources.
