This is actually a re-post from my personal blog. If you have ever read my post in Kompasiana months ago, you may still remember that I got a chance to live my dream to visit London. In this post, I am trying to share (by pictures) any lessons learnt from my visit . Enjoy! ;) Whooa London! I learnt a lot from every small thing here. People here are very kind. They respect to each other, including to the foreigners. The cleanliness of this city can be a good sample for other nations, I saw a lot of recycle bins everywhere; in the station, street, etc. where people can thrown away the newspaper or magazine if they are not willing to read it. London’s transportation system is great too, it is very well-organized. Okay, let these pictures explain you further then [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="London tube"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="Waterloo Station"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="293" caption="Again, another directions will avoid you to get lost :p"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="Turn right? It depends on your destination"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="Prepare your travel card/oyster card before taking the train or tube :D"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="392" caption="Help point is available in every station. Even trains are on time at London! :D"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="234" caption="A look inside the tube"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="314" caption="One of the station: Canada Water"] [/caption] [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="293" caption="Sit here if you run out of seats in the tube!"] [/caption] Actually, there are other things in London that we can take lessons from. What I explore here are only some parts of them. However, these could be new insights for our developed country, Indonesia, to improve its facilities and transportation system then slowly become an advanced country just like England later. Have you visited other countries overseas? Let's share the lessons you learnt from it! :)
