A storm is a harsh meteorological phenomenon where there is heavy rain as well as very strong winds. The cause of stroms is usually due to high sea surface temperatures.

What to do when hit by a thunderstorm on the mountain :

• Take shelter near a low tree

To minimize the risk of being struck by lightning or being hit by a fallen tree, you should avoid trees that are large and tall. Because, lightning more after strikes tall objects where if you take shelter in a tall tree it is very dangerous.

• Avoid camping in open areas

Camping in this open area is indead very risky, especially during the rainy season and there is apotential for stroms. In addition, open places such as savannas are very vulnerab le to strong winds which can certainly damage tents, ranging from broken to torn tent frames.

• Do not lie on the ground directly

Never do this if you are caught in a strom on a mountain., let alone caught in a thunderstorm. Because, this will be very dangerous because the ground can conduct electricity from lightning strikes. Even when lightning strikes the earth, the electricity from the lightning will propagate on the ground up to 30 meters from the center.
