Hello welcome to my blog, this is my first writing on kompasiana.com and hopefully useful for you students who are looking for a unique cafe reference as your assignment title.

ATTENTION! this blog is just a fictional story for the needs of the task of an English course catering to the Bosowa Polytechnic campus hospitality study program, so this article is only my imagination, so happy reading

If you want to have breakfast quietly then come to our restaurant which is a Vintage Restaurant, here you will feel cool and calm because this restaurant is on the outskirts of the city far (jl. Biringkassi, pangkep) from the noise and pollution that is thick like when you were in the city. For around the restaurant you can enjoy the views of rice fields and mountains accompanied by birdsong in the morning when you eat breakfast and for cutlery that we use is made of wood to support the natural scenery in view.

For breakfast menu we have 5 menus outside of drinks as seen in the menu image that I attach below.

There are three favorite menus in vintage restaurants which I will explain below:
1. Gado-gado
Gado-gado is a traditional Indonesian food that is classified as healthy because it is made from various pieces of vegetables that have been blunched and given peanut sauce as a seasoning. For vegetables that are commonly used in gado-gado namely cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, long beans and pieces of tofu, egg and tempeh that have been fried. For prices offered at vintage restaurants, we priced at 10k each serving.

2. Barongko

Barongko is a traditional cake from Makassar that can only be found on certain occasions such as weddings, because not all places to eat provide barongko. The main ingredient of barongko is a banana which is mashed and blended with sugar, coconut milk and eggs so that it is in the form of a dough, then wrapped in banana leaves and then steamed after cooked and served with banana leaves so when we open the package we can smell the aroma from bananas mixed with banana leaves.  For prices offered at vintage restaurants, we priced at 3k each pack.

3. Sanggara Balanda

Sanggara Balanda is a traditional Makassar cake that is included in the fried group because the main ingredient is fried bananas first after being smeared with beaten eggs, then after being fried the bananas are filled with butter and peanut crumbs. If you ask why it's called Sanggara Balanda? then the answer to that question is because when the Dutch colonized the South Sulawesi province, the fried food they enjoyed was Dutch Fried (in Indonesian) or known in the Makassar Bugis language SANGGARA BALANDA.  For prices offered at vintage restaurants, we priced at 10k each fried.

well that's all I can explain about the concept and menu of Vintage Restaurants, hopefully useful for friends who want to make a cafe later.
thank you for reading this blog until the end,

warm greetings from the author, sudarmi 😊
