Humans in the world generally want a life that is more calm, peaceful, harmonious and enjoyable. No one wants to live in exhausting difficulties, complications and suffering. Life must be very meaningful for every individual, how to live life with a warm feeling with loved ones.
Every citizen in the world certainly does not want conflict, conflict or war. Learning from the journey of life of the nations of the world during the past wars that have been passed, the true civilization of human life today focuses on living together as the same entity by prioritizing humanity, which means that there are no more human tragedies that occur on any basis. When it comes to humanity, in fact all leaders in the world are holding fast to efforts to avoid war.
If every country in the world is still competing to create weapons that are lethal to humans regardless of the model and type, it means that it is very likely that there will still be wars between countries in the world. A situation like this is certainly very frightening and gripping because it continues to live in the shadow of threats that endanger lives and make the quality of human life far from a sense of security and peace.
The dilemma is between the importance of having military power for the sake of maintaining the pride of a country so that it is respected by other countries to foster a sense of security for the country but on the other hand the increasingly sophisticated weapons of war that are created certainly make it easier to trigger war. Like the war between Russia and Ukraine, because Russia feels that it has the largest and most formidable military power in the world, so it is more easily triggered when facing issues that are considered offensive to Russian national policy.
World leaders must be able to sit together as equals in today's increasingly modern era of life, prioritizing human rights by agreeing to stop the production of weapons of destruction. There must be ways to resolve conflicts that occur by negotiation or diplomacy and benefit all parties involved. With these agreements, it is a great belief that human life in the world can be controlled and guaranteed quality and security. The huge costs incurred to produce super-sophisticated weapons can be diverted to help every citizen in the world who needs a more decent life.
That is the world today, looking after each other and protecting all countries in the world as the commitment of world leaders at the G20 Summit in Bali (15-16 November 2022), to become a momentum for the realization of world peace which is the responsibility of world leaders.
