What Is Lazy and How to Get Out From It

Lazy according to KBBI means not wanting to work or do something, in accordance with the meaning of being lazy to move or what is often shortened to being lazy is the condition of someone who does not want to do work, whether it is simple or not.

Being lazy is a very bad attitude which, if repeated, can turn into a bad habit. The reason is, apart from wasting time and doing nothing, laziness can trigger a number of diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular obesity, forgetfulness, and some types of cancer.

Unfortunately, Indonesians are very owners of this lethargic nature. according to lastminute.com, the country's population that moves the least is Indonesia, followed by Australia, Iceland, and New Zealand.

What a shame, isn't it?  if the next generation of the nation is a generation characterized by laziness. In order to stop this, we need to understand what is causing this laziness.

What is dopamine ?

Dopamine is a hormone and neurotransmitter found in our bodies. It is also known as the emotion control hormone and is one of the organic chemical compounds that motivate us to want or do something.

This hormone will improve mood when produced in the right amount, making people feel happy and excited, we are motivated to do something even when the brain is stimulated to produce dopamine. In contrast, laziness results from activities that cause the brain to release small amounts of dopamine.

Low dopamine activities, such as studying, writing reports, reading knowledge books, and so on, it won't be fun to do if we are used to very high dopamine activities, such as playing games, watching movies, browsing, and so on.

As a result, because there isn't enough dopamine to stimulate our brains, our bodies will be too sluggish to do productive tasks.
