Successfully Held, Formula E Jakarta Had Been A Polemic

The Formula E boss praised the success of the Formula E event which was held at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) on Saturday 4 June 2022 yesterday. Previously, Formula E Jakarta had become a polemic among the public and politicians because it was considered not ready and lacked sponsors. However, the circuit was able to be completed within 3 months with satisfactory results. This Formula E event was declared a success because it was watched by 60,000 spectators on the circuit and millions more watching from home in more than 150 countries around the world.

The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, expressed his deepest appreciation to all parties involved in the success of this Formula E event. "Behind the success of yesterday's Jakarta E-Prix, thousands of hands are involved in making it happen. Construction officers, health workers, transportation drivers, food providers, licensing administrators, and many others are working in silence," said Anies in an upload on his Instagram account @aniesbaswedan Sunday (5/6).

One of the volunteers involved in the Formula E event, Adelia said that this event was very lively and impressive. “As my first experience participating in an automotive event, this event was exciting and very impressive, the euphoria of the racing event was really strong. There are many lessons that I can take from this Formula E event.” Adelia also said that she was impressed by the large number of viewers and hoped that the upcoming Formula E event could be better organized and learn from the shortcomings and mistakes of Formula E that were held this year.
