Sleep is something to rest the body, usually the body needs rest to recover from fatigue and form an energy. If we don't sleep, chances are that our body, especially the eyes, will get tired and reddened quickly. Therefore why sleep is very important for everyday life. But sleep also has its time, we must not lack sleep or overdo it. At the age of 12-18 years, more precisely in adolescents, sleep should be done 8-9 hours, as well as at the age of 18-40 for adults need 7-8 hours of sleep every day. Good sleep should be done with time as previously explained. And now I want to explain why we should not oversleep.

Sleep is very important for our bodies, but it does not rule out sleep can cause disease if we overdo it. Here are some factors if we do it excessively:

1. Heart Disease Risk

As explained earlier, adequate sleep time is around 8-9 hours for teenagers, and 7-8 hours for adults. If done around 9-11 hours especially in women, the risk of coronary heart disease is 38% higher.

2. Depression

Previously there was some evidence that 15% of people experience stress and depression due to excessive sleep every day. Because sleep is very influential also for physical and mental health, therefore sleep has an application of time.

3. Diabetes

Metabolic processes are strongly associated with sleep, according to several study programs, excessive and deficient sleep also has a high impact on the risk of diabetes.
