JKT48 (Short of Jakarta48) is an Indonesian idol group and the 1st international sister group of AKB48. The group has their own theater in fX Sudirman, on Jakarta, Indonesia. Their first appearance was on December 17, 2011.
After the success of the first original single, "Rapsodi", JKT48 is currently preparing its second original single, entitled "Flying High". This was announced at the JKT48 10th Anniversary Kick Off Conference event in December 2021.
In this single, 9 members have been chosen to perform this song, the members are Zee as Center, Shani, Feni, Gracia, Jinan, Christy, Fiony, Chika, and Marsha. The member was announced on April 10, 2022 through LED Plaza Barat GBK.
In this single, JKT48 is produced by Matt Rad and August Rigo, international producers who have worked with BTS, Selena Gomez, One Direction, and Justin Bieber. The making of the "Flying High" Music Video was carried out in Japan last May.
On 7,10, and 13 June, JKT48 through Instagram, TikTok, and its Youtube channel released a teaser of each member which lasted 20 seconds. The release of the Music Video will be on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 19.00 on the Official JKT48 Youtube channel.
