In a groundbreaking move towards environmental sustainability, Telkom University (Tel-U) has announced its commitment to accelerate the achievement of the Net Zero Emission (NZE) target from the initial goal of 2060 to the more ambitious timeline of 2030.

By advancing the NZE target by three decades, Tel-U demonstrates its dedication to proactive environmental stewardship and leadership in sustainable development.

Dr. Runik Machfiroh, as the Chair of Digital Collaboration for Sustainability (SDGs Center Telkom University), explained that Telkom University is striving to reduce its carbon footprint by implementing various measures to minimize greenhouse gas emissions. This could involve initiatives such as improving energy efficiency, transitioning to renewable energy sources, optimizing transportation systems, and promoting sustainable practices throughout campus operations.
