Last month, our saturn car broke down on the North shore area, Hawaii. One guy named Robert helped me to jump start the car. After he helped me to restart my car I believe him. He introduced himself as a mechanic and an expert to fix saturn car. You can notice this caucasian guy with a long big truck reside on front of haula beach park. After asked for a $100 repair fee (he said that is for the fixing fee until the car run again) and took our starter (worth $65 and to get a new one we need to turn in the old starter or pay $65), he always answered his cell short very rude and never come back to fix our car. Our total lost is $230 for a silly mistake of trusting a helper and our car still just sitting there.
Sometime, people help other people because they have good heart but other time they just pure evil. A few years ago is my first time hear "becareful who helped you." I thought that is a rediculus thing since people won't help if they have bad intention. Nowdays, bad intention come in many form not only do bad things but also good deed can masked a bad intention.
If you ever go to hawaii and your car broke down; first, don't believe anyone look although he does look like a mechanic with a big long truck, second, always asked a license card (mechanics, CPR personels, etc), and third, don't easily trust any one who helped you. If you need professional help, call professional you know or your friend but do say thank you and walk away remember mom always said "dont talk to stranger."
