A healthy lifestyle is the key to keeping our bodies fit and avoiding various diseases. To live a good healthy lifestyle, we need to pay attention to food intake. According to an article published by Harvard Medical School, a healthy lifestyle consists of healthy habits that include a healthy diet, healthy physical activity level, healthy body weight, no smoking, and moderate alcohol intake.

While ccording to WHO in Healthy Living, there are 3 main benefits of a healthy lifestyle, namely:

1. Prevent chronic diseases and premature death. Not all diseases can be prevented, but research shows that a healthy lifestyle can prevent serious diseases such as diabetes, coronary heart disease, and cancer.

2. Enjoy life more. You can freely do any activity because of your optimal physical and mental condition.

3. Creating a happier family. By adopting a healthy lifestyle, you can be a good role model for your family, especially your children. You can also create a healthy environment for them to grow well.

How to start a healthy lifestyle is to start by paying attention to the balance of daily food consumption, avoiding alcohol, and cigarettes. Then be physically active, get vaccinated, have regular self-health tests, and have safe sex.

Exercise is also important, you don't have to be an athlete, but try to get moving every day. It could be walking in the morning, cycling, or any other physical activity you enjoy. This can help us maintain our ideal weight, increase energy, and reduce stress.

Try not to stay up too late at night and reduce activities that are less useful. According to experts, staying up late at night can increase the risk of heart attack, high blood pressure, cancer, obesity, and diabetes. To avoid these risks, try to go to bed at nine or ten in the evening as our bodies need adequate rest to recover and function optimally. Ideally, we should sleep for 7-8 hours per night. If we tend to stay up late, don't be surprised if we become more susceptible to diseases.
