Dedari Park Bali: Splendor of dozens stone statues
Dedari Park is one of the tourist attractions in Bali that was recently established. The location is on Jalan Raya Kedewatan, Kedewatan, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The word dedari itself means an angel. The name is taken from the legend of Resi Markandeya who saw the descent of an angel in the Ayung River, not far from Dedari Park. Dedari Park Bali: History
The history of Dedari Park is based on the legend of Rishi Markandeya. Rishi Markandeya himself is an ancient receipt that has Hindu religious beliefs. Where he traveled from Mount Dieng past Mount Raung and then arrived in Bali in the 4th century AD. After settling down and meditating, the rishi saw an angel descend from the sky. This is the origin of the river used for meditation called the Ayung River. That's where the angels come down from heaven and then bathe.
It's not surprising, because these statues were designed by a well-known Balinese artist from Puri Agung Ubud, namely Ida Tjokorda Oka Arta Ardhana Sukawati who has also served as governor of Bali since September 5 2018. Located in a strategic location. Access to get there is fairly easy. Visitors need to drive 40 minutes to 1 hour from Ngurah Rai airport by car, motorbike or bus. The entrance to Dedari Park is one with The Royal Pita Maha Hotel. For a bus with a capacity of 40 people, it's still easy, but for a bus with a capacity of 45 people and above, turning it will be a little difficult. Visitors do not need to pay an entrance fee to enjoy the rides at Dedari Park, but only need to order food and drinks.
