Fried rice is a dish of cooked rice that has been stir-fried in a frying pan and is usually mixed with other ingredients such as eggs, vegetables, seafood, or meat. Fried rice is a portion of common street food in Asia. In some Asian countries, small restaurants, street vendors and travelling hawkers specialize in serving fried rice. In Indonesian cities, it is common to find fried rice street hawkers moving through the streets with their food cart and stationing it in busy streets or residential areas.

Fried rice turned out to have existed thousands of years ago, which is around 4000 BC. This food does not come from Indonesia, but rather as a traditional food of the Chinese people. The idea of cooking fried rice starts from the habits of the Chinese people who don't like cold food. Therefore, they tried to cook the rice that was already cold. To make it more delicious, they add spices while cooking it. Unexpectedly, it turned out that the fried rice made was very popular with the Chinese people.
