Did Pramo-Rano Policies Affect People Motivation to Vote in Pilkada 2024?

Policies are essential for creating a better future and environment. However, politicians often take advantage of this need to win elections. They tend to entice voters with unrealistic reward policies, which can result in electing leaders who are not capable of effectively guiding our country. Because of this some people doest use their vote (golput). According to KPU (cnnindonesia, 2024) there is about 42,48% or around 4.724.393 people golput in Jakarta pilkada 2024. Can Ramono and Rano policies motivate people to vote?

By analyzing comments on YouTube and Instagram regarding Ramono and Rano's policies or their debate, here is their reaction.

Positive Reaction

1.  Many people believe that even if there is a Round 2, Ramono and Rano will still win.
2.  While Ridwan Kamil served as the governor of West Java, people concluded that Ramono and Rano were better options.

Negatives Reaction

1.  Some people think that because Anis and Ahok are not in this vote, people choose to abstain (golput).
2.  Some people think that because there is no suitable candidate to vote for, they choose to abstain (golput).

Neutral Reaction

      1. Some people say that it doesn't matter who wins, as long as it's for Jakarta.

Conclusion

From all these comments we can say that indeed Ramono and Rano policies have some impact which is why people choose Ramono and Rano compared to other candidates where they said are incompetent then Ramono and Rano.
